EVENTS NEWSLETTER

The week includes many sports activities organised by Kelly Tramell. Kelly will also organise lifeguard duties in the new state of the art swimming pool which also boosts a sauna. There is a games room with darts snooker tables, table tennis and a crazy dance machine to get you fit and practice your steps.

There is also a day of trade stands and a day of table-top sales where you may bring your unwanted Trans items for sale. Someone will also be around with the raffle tickets for the draw at the end of the week.

Donations of raffle prizes always welcome.

There usually is a bingo trip at the end of the week to Bridgewater Gala Bingo, to which you take your own car (Oh by the way, the locals love this afternoon!)

Apart from bingo, quizzes, sports and casino nights, there are cabarets, disco nights and theme nights. There is also a chance to be a croupier at casino nights or a 'dolly dealer' for 'Play Your Cards Right'.

At the May event you have the chance to be crowned Miss St Audries Bay.

One of the highlights of the week is the ?You entertain us night?. This gives all budding pop stars, rock chicks, comediennes, in fact anyone who can play an instrument or give any entertainment, the chance to be a star for the night.

This is an amazing night - there is real talent in the TG world.

Of course there is the main ball room where entertainment takes place each evening. There is also the Sundowner Bar where food is served up until 8 each evening. This ranges from a full meal to bar snacks tea and coffee. The bar is open from around 10am each day.

For information about events and any queries about the holiday atmosphere in general, you can email Kelly or Stacy.

If you have any input or photos you would like to ad to this site once again please send to either of the above. Also any ideas for future events on site.

Transcare is Stacys goods  - a selection of breast forms, hairpieces and many other Trans delights. You can view Trans care goods at www.transliving.co.uk Once again Stacy gives a further discount at St Audries.

So do join us at Trans camp for a fun week. Lots of local business and bars and restaurants cannot wait to welcome you.

October 06 was a great event; schools out and trannie camp descends on Somerset once again, everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. Despite flood warnings high winds and torrential rain, it was fun, fun, fun all the way.

The highlight of the week just had to be the show. This is where members of the gender community get together and perform acts on stage.

Lead by Sara (our own personal Cher act) who did a superb job for a first time compere, dressed in a natty ring mistress outfit she looked as stunning as ever. Kelly was seen around with her famous clipboard rustling up those who wanted to take part in the sports and the trophies were presented on the last night.

As for the band ? Wow, what a treat! Those who have heard Kirsty sing before will know she has a super style country and western sounding voice and a great ?Donavan? singer too. For four people to get together and form a band in a few days is a miracle and boy they were just that.

Roxy on drums, the sexiest drummer you will ever see (apologies to Mrs Roxy, smile), Bridget on rhythm guitar, Dizzy who sings and plays a mean bass guitar and Elaine on semi-acoustic guitar. Kirsty left the stage and another member walked on and the Rolling Stones numbers took 40 years off me in an instant.

Julie sang ?Woman in love? and that came across wonderfully. Fay did a smoochie ?Sway?, a great favourite of mine.

Naughty Nicola did her raunchy impression of Tina Turner; she is such a bad girl. Look, she can?t leave the boys alone.

I do believe the coach trip was on the steam rail way and ended up at the cider farm, I haven?t heard to much about this yet ,but I am sure an enjoyable day was organised by Rita.

Oooohh! Elvis came to sing, what a hunk, Unfortunately I did not get a photo, but one may turn up from one of the girls who attended the camp, when some saucy tart threw her knickers at him, he lost it for a moment and went in to fit of giggles, but in true Elvis style dutifully wiped his brow with them. A good sport no doubt.

And of course there was the gangster and moll?s night.

Bonnie & Clyde, Al Capone and Stacy

Al Capone with Stacy and Bonnie.

The cartoon look-a-like hosted by Pauline was such fun! Sylvia came in first as Princess Pocahontas, Marline as Officer Dibble came second and in third place was Jane as Catwoman.

We were graced with the presence of Minnie Mouse, Cinderella and a Barbie doll to name but a few (Can I play with the Barbie doll?).

We also held a schoolgirl night.

Ideas are always welcomed for future events. You can email either me or Kelly.

Last Day of My Holiday

Last night, in the club, trying to have a good time,
Tomorrow I’ll have to say goodbye to friends of mine.
To the bungalow, Got things to do, I had to go back,
The worst thing to do, I’ve got to pack.

The happiness within me is drifting away,
Up in the morning, we leave, it’s the last day.
Load the car, my skirts, coats, and my case,
Over to the club, got to put on a brave face.

Some girls were there, some were geezers,
Bloody hell, did I pack my tweezers.
It was subdued; I think we were all a bit down,
Tried to laugh, and joke, and not frown.

Said goodbye to Mick, and some of the girls,
My sister Anita, being herself, and doing twirls.
Had breakfast, and approaching the hard bit,
Got to say goodbye, ain’t life full of s***.

Gave Barbara a hug, and a kiss, I was sighing,
Gave Anita a hug, to stop myself crying.
Trying not to let my emotions show,
I’m a man, got to be all macho.

In the car, my twin Tina and I were away,
It was quiet, we had nothing to say.
With Tina driving, I had no fears,
I sat there, trying to hold back the tears.

We got home safe; I was a bit stressed,
Didn’t want my neighbor’s to see me dressed.
Got things ready, out of the car I fled,
Fumbled with the keys, and dashed into my shed.

Spent the rest of the time, with my twin sister Tina,
Had a Chinese meal, not too much, I have to get leaner.
We sat, and talked, and chatted away,
Bed early, Tina is going home the next day.

The time came, and went, and passed.
I wish that week would last, and last, and last.
Maybe I’m not much of a man, but just a girl,
Saying goodbye to Tina, I felt my emotions unfurl.

Tina’s gone; I waved to her as she went past,
I can show my emotions now, I’m alone at last.
I can’t be macho no matter how I try,
I just sat there, and had a bloody good cry.
